All the rice in China

You want rice with that?  After walking aimless looking for a box of rice at the grocery, I stumbled upon this metric ton pile creating its own aisle.  Rice in China comes in 10 to 50lbs. bags not 14 ounce boxes near the Jello.  Surprisingly, many people in northern China eat relatively little rice in comparison to the sunny wet south where it is grown, preferring potatoes, and locally grown wheat products like bread for their daily starches.
