The Presidential Palace, Hanoi


Supposedly when Ho Chi Minh lived and ruled in Hanoi, he refused to live in the traditional spicy brown mustard President’s palace and instead had a traditional Vietnamese house built in the back, where he lived out his tenure. Just 1,000 yards away is his large monolithic grey tomb and not curiously in his namesake city in the south-previously known as Saigon.
