Crowned the ‘last of the great ski towns’ in Colorado, Crested Butte or CB as local call it, was originally home to the Ute native Americans and later European trappers, ranchers, and coal and silver miners.  Today, the town at nearly 9,000′ above sea level and home to only 1,500 year round residents enjoy skiing, mountain biking, hiking, and climbing in the natural beauty of the Rocky Mountains.
